The Negro Speaks of Rivers published by Novello

The Negro Speaks of Rivers, a new concert work composed by Craig McLeish, and inspired by Langston Hughes' poem, has just been published by Novello.

Langston Hughes (1902-1967) was the first black American to earn his living from writing. He was an innovator of jazz poetry, becoming part of the Harlem Renaissance in the 1920s and 1930s.
